The food of Ensenada

The Valle de Guadalupe is great and has a lot to do, but only 30 minutes away is downtown Ensenada and all the nightlife and street food.

We have our personal favorites when we go to downtown. A must is Hussungs Cantina, home of the Margaretta. Unlike Papa’s & Beers, which is right next door, they cater to the younger crowd…load music, big screen tv’s.

Hussongs is different. For one, they cater to all ages as long as you want a good time. There are at least 3 live bands parading around the place any given saturday night. 10 beer buckets goes for $19 – enough said?

After putting down your fair share of cervezas, its time to hit the street forĀ  hotdogs and tacos. The featured image is a personal fav of mine that is up the street from Hussongs. There is something they do to the onions that make this dog the best in town.

If your not into the hot dogs, just walk 100 feet and someone will be selling different varieties of tacos. This is and image of a taco joint I love that caters only to pastor and Carne Asada tacos.
