Oh, my beloved Botella! One of the first times we visited Valle de Guadalupe we decided to go grab something to eat around 8 PM…big mistake, restaurants in the area we stayed were closed or about to close. Our hosts suggested La Botella.

Right across the street from the wine museum (Museo del Vino) and up on the hill is Hacienda Guadalupe. I love the look and feel of this restaurant. Our recommendation is to get a table outside and take in the views of the Valle de Guadalupe while eating.

Fat Cat is a breakfast restaurant that is a favorite for most tourists. Locals stay away from Fat Cat on weekends were waiting for a table and parking are a concern. The food is good and plenty. You will not leave Fat Cat hungry. The pancakes seem to be what Fat Cat is known for.

King & Queen is a really cool place and getting more and more popular to the point you need reservations. When they just opened, we would go almost every weekend, now it’s impossible. Good and creative food and a good vibe.  King & Queen sits right by the Rondo Vineyard.

La Cocina de Dona Esthela is a landmark breakfast/lunch restaurant. Mostly you’re going to hear “you have to go”. Tour buses make stops here and the tourists all flock to this restaurant like they are about o be locked in a 2 month quarantine.

We haven’t had the opportunity to go to Bar Bura, but we did go to do a wine tasting. What a beautiful place, great service and good wine. We were delighted by how well organized they are with parking and how welcoming they were even when they were packed.

Rondo has become one of our favorite wines in the region. The place exudes simplicity and peace. We stopped by while waiting for our reservation at King & Queen Cantina, and we were very pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed our tasting and loved the great wine and service.
